Vevox
Vevox is an inclass voting system and discussion tool that can help you contribute to activities during a lecture or workshop.
ActiveSync is a Microsoft service for syncing your Email, Calendar and Contacts to mobile devices like phones & tablets. It is supported by nearly all phone manufacturers. Whatever your device, it is likely you will be able to support this – depending on the wording used it might refer to adding a Microsoft Exchange / ActiveSync or EAS (Exchange ActiveSync Server) account.
LJMU provide an Activesync server for all users – this is free, there is no cost for you to use this so you can synchronise your email, calendar and contacts from anywhere in the world. If you have a big list of addresses & phone numbers in Outlook or on your phone already, Activesync is a great way of getting these and keeping them safely so you will never lose any important mobile numbers.
For more information about Activesync and how to add email to your mobile device, please see the Help with IT pages on the intranet.
