‘Canvas Revisited’ training and development for staff

The Teaching and Learning Academy Learning Technology Team are launching a new training programme for staff to develop their use of Canvas and other Learning Technologies. Canvas Revisited provides a suite of training programmes that are designed to equip staff with skills to deal with some of the key areas of Technology Enhanced Learning. These include; Assessment, Course Content, Active Learning, In class polling and Using video to enhance learning. The sessions will be hands on ‘workshops’ that aim to, in addition to enhancing practice, provide a ‘take away’ tool or element that can be used for the coming academic year. The sessions also include important information and advice on practice in relation to Accessibility of VLE and Copyright, two areas of significant importance to the HE sector right now. There will also be an opportunity to feedback on which Learning Technologies you would like to see prioritised going forward.

Sessions will be 90 minutes long and will take place in IT Labs across the university.

A more detailed list of Canvas Revisited sessions and information on how to book on can be found at the ‘Staff Training and Networking Opportunities

We look forward to seeing you!
