Panopto offers a number of basic functions for you to alter videos after you have recorded them:
- Open Canvas, go to the Panopto area of the course menu, look for a button on the page which has the word ‘[assignment]’ in it and click on this.
- You will see all videos that you have previously uploaded or created
- If you position your mouse pointer over a video, several options appear:
Settings allow you to rename the video, but avoid touching any other settings here
Share do not alter any settings in here
Edit provides access to the editing tool. The editing tool provides a simple editing window where you can cut off the start or end of a recording. To learn more about the editing tool, click on the edit option and then on the help icon in the top right hand corner of the page
Delete delete the video. Use this if you need to delete the video or to provide clarity
