You can record and upload video via any mobile device. Whether you are recording yourself talking through a presentation or reflecting on a piece of work, you can do this directly in Canvas via the Student App. You will need to check with your tutor where you need to submit this work, either via an assignment link, or in your course discussion area.
- Download the Canvas App
- Practice your talk
- Break the talk into 5-10 minute sections.
- Set up your phone so that it is safely positioned for you to be recorded
- Try a test recording to see if you can hear and see yourself
- Record your first section and upload it to Canvas via the app
- Title the recording Part 1.
- Click on the link to check the recording has been uploaded
- Record the other sections and check they have all been successfully uploaded.
You will then need to share your slides with your tutor. Your tutor may have made an assignment available in Canvas, you can upload them there.
