Blog Post: Non-Standard Module Information

The new VLE will be introduced on 1st August, 2017. This date was chosen to co-incide with the creation of new 2017-18 modules and to minimise impact on teaching and learning . However, staff in the Teaching and Learning Academy, and IT Services are conscious that a significant amount of teaching delivery takes place outside of the confines of the standard academic calendar. There is therefore a requirement to gather accurate intelligence about these ‘non-standard’ modules in order to minimise any disruption around the introduction of the new VLE.

To provide a starting point, data has been extracted from WebHub which relates to programmes with a non-standard delivery element. However, this data only provides a snapshot since it lists programmes which have current enrolments; conscious that this is a fluid situation, we would appreciate your input. If you know of any non-standard modules in your Faculty or Programme, please complete the form below or circulate this link to people you think will be able to provide the requested information. It is important to gather as much accurate information as possible so that we can ensure the move to our new VLE is a success for all stakeholders, staff and students.
