New Quizzes is both a redesign and an improvement on the underlying system that replaces the current classic Canvas quizzes in July 2022. Canvas sees this change as providing a “new assessment engine that leverages modern technologies, enhanced features and workflow improvements“.
New functionality includes:
- New and improved question types
- Improved settings and reporting capabilities
- User interface enhancements developed with mobile in mind
The TLA team will be creating guidance and running training to help you understand how to move old content into the new system and how to create and deploy new quizzes. Here is a link to see the new quizzes interface and the range of question types.
