Canvas Assignments facilitates student engagement by allowing them to comment on any assignment attempts. If they do this, an email will be sent to your LJMU outlook address. This email will be titled: Submission comment, [Student Name], [Assignment title], [Module Code].
The email will contain the text they entered and a link, which will take you to the assignment and will also allow you to enter any reply (see below). This allows you to contain any discussion around feedback in one place, and makes it easy to refer to the submission, before making a comment. The student will be notified via Canvas that the reply has been made.
This space can be used to add information about the submission or open a dialogue about marks and feedback.
