Course Copy and Sharing Canvas Content

Copying content between courses allows you to quickly update and build your Canvas course. There are many ways to copy content. Content can be shared directly with other tutors, so that they can add this to their own course when they are ready. You can import all content from a specific course, or select specific items.

Copy Between Courses Guides

• Import All Content or multiple items from an Existing Course
• Staff Guide: Direct Share – Copying Individual Items to Other Courses
• Staff Guide: Copying forward Panopto recordings into your new course

Direct Share with Other Tutors

This is a great way to share content and ideas with other tutors. Simply find the item in your course and then click on the options icon for that item and select ‘send to’. It will then appear in their ‘Shared Content’ inbox.
